Photography is making us a little crazy

You can’t have it both ways….or can you?
Governments around the world are placing more and more CCD cameras in public places while simultaneously restricting the rights of private citizens to photograph certain things in public. Now, the European Court of Human Rights has ruled that taking someone’s photo in public without their consent is a violation of privacy law.  Closer to home, a New York congressman  recently introduced a bill requiring cell phone cameras to make an audible clicking sound when the camera function is activated. At first I thought this one was a joke but apparently not.

Not sure where this ends. Stay tuned.
